On the Horizon

As a photographer, student of film, and artist … I can’t say enough about developing relationships with other professionals. I think that in both life and business - who we surround ourselves with can help to make or break our goals and aspirations. Far too often as artists in business, we tend to try to create an island unto ourselves to guard and protect our own battle plan. It’s easy to get caught up in our own worlds - our own visions - our own paths. All of the sudden, you look around and see other artists as threats to your domain instead of embracing them as inspiration, encouragement, and yes … even mentors.

All that build-up just to say that I am currently working on something with Chance and Dom of ChanceJames Photography. I can’t really elaborate at this point, but it is something that I think could be huge for us. Dom is a creative powerhouse with a visionary mindset and Chance is an extremely skilled artist across the board. It’s been a joy to work with them and learn from them this past year. Their work speaks for itself and their reputation in the Valley is solid.

I look forward to sharing more soon.

Note to photographers, videographers, artists out there in one word: Share.
Share your work, your methods, experiences and inspirations, successes, failures. Good things happen (:
